Stockbridge Excellence

SMS offers a variety of courses including HS credit classes, Fine Arts, STEM, and World Languages. Scholars also receive Reading and Math support through REP, Math 180, Read 180, and System 44 during 1st period.

SMS is dedicated to preparing students for college, career, and life with a 98% participation rate in the Henry Futures/BRIDGE Bill. Our 2023-24 Milestones data shows growth in reading and math, outperforming HCS in closing learning gaps.

SMS was recognized by the State Superintendent of Schools for accelerated growth and achievement in Algebra I.

Stockbridge Middle School offers various athletic programs and clubs that help students develop leadership skills and prepare for high school. From football to track, students can showcase their talents and build teamwork.

Stockbridge Middle School is proud to offer National Junior Beta and National Junior Honors Society. We are assuring an ongoing quest to instill the National Beta Club pillars in more students and are intentionally focused on increasing our memberships.

 

Stockbridge Middle School encourages students to join clubs or teams to build connections and develop leadership skills. Our extracurricular offerings include mentoring clubs, sports, and academic activities like the Reading Bowl and Chess Club, providing opportunities for growth, service, and friendly competition.
