What it Takes to Graduate

Students in Henry County need 23 credits to graduate from high school:

• 4 units of Language Arts (English I, II, III and IV)

• 4 units of Mathematics (Math I, II, III, and IV or Accelerated Courses)

• 4 units of Science (Biology, Physical Science/Honors Chemistry plus 2 additional Sciences)

• 3 units of Social Studies (World History, US History, American Government and Economics)

• 1 unit of Health and Personal Fitness

• 3 units of CTAE (Career, Technical and Agricultural Education/or Foreign Language**/and or Fine Arts)

• 4 additional Electives

**All students planning on entering a University System of Georgia institution must have 2 units or years of the same foreign language
